‘CANES TO DELIVER 1,050 TURKEYS FOR AREA FAMILIES

RALEIGH, NCDon Waddell, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team will deliver 1,050 turkeys to area families on Wednesday ahead of Thanksgiving. Hurricanes alumni Erik Cole will be on hand to join team staff members in distributing the turkeys at Urban Ministries of Wake County, Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina, Raleigh Rescue Mission, Helping Hand Mission, Inter-Faith Food Shuttle, and StepUp Ministry from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
