RALEIGH, NC – Ron Francis, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the Hurricanes will honor Cam Ward with a special pregame ceremony on Friday in celebration of the goaltender’s 500th NHL game played. Ward appeared in his 500th game tonight against the Philadelphia Flyers.
