‘CANES SIGN STAAL TO ONE-YEAR EXTENSION

RALEIGH, NC – Eric Tulsky, General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has signed forward Jordan Staal to a one-year contract extension for the 2027-28 season. The deal will pay Staal a base salary of $900,000, with a $4 million signing bonus and up to $5.1 million in additional performance bonuses.
