Mike Brown is entering his 16th NHL season and his second as manager of team services. Prior to joining the team services department, he spent six seasons with the Hurricanes’ communications department. Brown is responsible for overseeing team logistics, including travel, hotels, meals and player services.
Prior to joining the Hurricanes in 2018, Brown spent eight seasons with the Boston Bruins as a member of the communications game night staff and served as a communications intern during the team’s Stanley Cup run in 2010-11. He also gained experience working for the New England Sports Network, Hockey East Association and Northeastern University’s athletic department.
A native of South Berwick, Maine, Brown graduated from Northeastern University’s School of Journalism.
Mallory Wilmoth is entering her third season with the Carolina Hurricanes as team operations assistant. In this role, she manages the player and staff family groups. Mallory also assists with team operations, including travel coordination, scheduling, and managing player tickets. Additionally, she oversees equipment transfers for home and road games, organizes player appearances, and provides support to the hockey operations department.
Before joining the Hurricanes, Mallory spent three years with Florida State Women’s Basketball in Tallahassee, first as a graduate assistant and later as the Director of Recruiting. She earned her master’s degree in sport management from the university.
A native of Dobson, North Carolina, Mallory graduated in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she spent two years as a student manager for the men’s basketball team.
