RALEIGH, N.C. – Don Waddell, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has re-signed forward Sebastian Aho to an eight-year, $78 million contract extension. The deal will begin with the 2024-25 NHL season and will pay Aho an average-annual value (AAV) of $9.75 million through 2031-32.
