RALEIGH, N.C. – Don Waddell, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has signed goaltender Frederik Andersen to a two-year, $6.8 million contract extension. The deal will pay Andersen an average-annual value (AAV) of $3.4 million per season through 2024-25.
