RALEIGH, N.C. – The National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes today announced the establishment of the Carolina Hurricanes Hall of Fame to recognize players and contributors who have positively impacted the hockey club in such a way where their contributions cannot be overlooked. Rod Brind’Amour, Ron Francis and Glen Wesley, who have each had their jersey number retired by the Hurricanes, will receive immediate inclusion into the Hurricanes Hall of Fame. The inaugural Hall of Fame inductee(s) will be announced in the coming weeks, and the Hurricanes’ inaugural Hall of Fame game will take place on Thursday, Feb. 16 against Montreal.
