RALEIGH, N.C. – Don Waddell, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has agreed to terms with forward Andrei Svechnikov on an eight-year contract. The deal will pay Svechnikov an average-annual value (AAV) of $7.75 million per season through 2028-29.
