RALEIGH, N.C. – Don Waddell, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has acquired the rights to goaltender Jonathan Bernier and a third-round pick (94th overall) in the 2021 NHL Draft from the Detroit Red Wings in exchange for the rights to goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic.
