HURRICANES TO HOST COOL SCHOOL FIELD TRIP

RALEIGH, NC – Don Waddell, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that as part of the Carolina Hurricanes’ Readvolution program, the Hurricanes will host the “Cool School Field Trip” at PNC Arena on Monday, Feb. 25 at 11 a.m.

Approximately 9,000 elementary students from 11 area schools will attend Carolina’s practice, participate in fun and educational activities throughout the morning and attend a Q and A session with Hurricanes captain Justin Williams at the conclusion of the practice. In addition, the First Lady of North Carolina Kristin Cooper is scheduled to be in attendance. The Cool School Field Trip is closed to the public.
