‘CANES ANNOUNCE FLORENCE RELIEF EFFORTS

RALEIGH, NC – Don Waddell, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team will host a Hurricane Florence Relief Drive beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 18, at 3 p.m. All fans donating items will receive vouchers for two tickets to either the team’s preseason game on Sept. 19 against Tampa Bay or Sept. 21 against Washington.

In addition, the Hurricanes will be offering a limited number of special $40 lower-level tickets to their regular-season home games on Oct. 7 against the NY Rangers and Oct. 9 against the Vancouver Canucks, with proceeds benefiting the State of North Carolina’s Disaster Relief Fund. The team will distribute full details for how to purchase this special ticket offer via its social media channels and CarolinaHurricanes.com later this week.
