RALEIGH, NC – The Carolina Hurricanes selected forward Andrei Svechnikov with the second overall selection in the first round of the 2018 NHL Draft on Friday. The Hurricanes currently do not own another selection in the first round, which will continue tomorrow at American Airlines Center in Dallas with the second through seventh rounds (11 a.m. ET, NHL Network).
