HURRICANES TO HOST COOL SCHOOL FIELD TRIP

RALEIGH, NC – Don Waddell, President of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes and Gale Force Sports & Entertainment, today announced that as part of the Carolina Hurricanes’ and Wake County Public School System’s (WCPSS) Readvolution program, the Hurricanes will host the “Cool School Field Trip” at PNC Arena on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 11 a.m. Approximately 9,000 elementary students from 11 Wake County schools will attend Carolina’s practice, participate in fun and educational activities throughout the morning and attend a Q and A session with Hurricanes alternate captain Jeff Skinner at the conclusion of the practice. The Cool School Field Trip is closed to the public.
