DUNDON INTRODUCED AS NEW HURRICANES OWNER

RALEIGH, NC – Gary Bettman, Commissioner of the National Hockey League, today introduced entrepreneur and philanthropist Tom Dundon as the new majority owner of the Carolina Hurricanes, including the operation of PNC Arena, during a news conference at PNC Arena. Dundon became majority owner of the Hurricanes on Thursday, through the formal closing of his purchase transaction with Peter Karmanos. Karmanos retains a minority ownership interest in the Club.
