RALEIGH, NC – The Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League and Wake County Public School System will hold a press conference at Martin Magnet Middle School on Friday, Jan. 5 at 10 a.m. to introduce the Power Play Program presented by Novo Nordisk. The Power Play Program is a youth health and fitness program designed for Wake County Middle Schools to help educate students on the importance of leading healthy lifestyles and demonstrating proper physical fitness routines and techniques.
Following the press conference, Hurricanes mascot Stormy will lead Martin Magnet Middle School students in various exercises from the Power Play Program’s instructional exercise video.
