ERIK COLE ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT FROM HOCKEY

RALEIGH, NC – Ron Francis, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has signed left wing Erik Cole to a ceremonial contract. Cole subsequently announced his retirement from his playing career in hockey.

 

Following Cole’s announcement, Hurricanes President Don Waddell named him as team ambassador.
