RALEIGH, NC – Ron Francis, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has acquired defenseman Trevor van Riemsdyk and a seventh-round pick in the 2018 NHL Draft from the Vegas Golden Knights in exchange for Pittsburgh’s second-round selection (62^nd overall) in the 2017 NHL Draft.
