HURRICANES RECALL ALTSHULLER FROM CHARLOTTE

RALEIGH, NC – Ron Francis, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has recalled goaltender Daniel Altshuller from the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League (AHL). Altshuller is being recalled after Carolina netminder Eddie Lack was diagnosed with a concussion. Altshuller will join the Hurricanes for the team’s game tonight at PNC Arena against the New Jersey Devils.
