JOHNSTON RETIRES; WHITNEY ADDED AS PRO SCOUT

RALEIGH, NC – Ron Francis, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team’s director of professional scouting, Marshall Johnston, has retired. Francis also announced that Ray Whitney has been added to the team’s full-time professional scouting staff.
