RALEIGH, NC – Ron Francis, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has reassigned forward Sergey Tolchinsky to the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League. Tolchinsky was recalled to Carolina on Monday, and skated in the team’s game on Tuesday in Boston.
