RALEIGH, NC – Ron Francis, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the Hurricanes have recalled forward Andrej Nestrasil (ahn-DRAY NEHS-tra-shihl) from the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League (AHL). Nestrasil played in three games with the Checkers after being assigned to Charlotte last Thursday for a conditioning stint.
