NESTRASIL ASSIGNED TO CHARLOTTE ON CONDITIONING

RALEIGH, NC – Ron Francis, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the Hurricanes have assigned forward Andrej Nestrasil (ahn-DRAY NEHS-tra-shihl) to the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League (AHL) for conditioning. Nestrasil was activated from injured reserve earlier today, after missing nearly a month of action with an upper-body injury.
