HURRICANES ASSIGN PATRICK BROWN TO CHARLOTTE

RALEIGH, NC – Ron Francis, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has assigned forward Patrick Brown to the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League (AHL). With the move, Carolina now has 24 players on its training camp roster heading into the team’s final preseason game on Sunday at Washington.
