RALEIGH, NC – Ron Francis, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team will reassign nine players from its training camp roster to the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League. Francis also announced that the team has added forward Chad LaRose to the training camp roster on a professional tryout.
