HURRICANES AGREE TO TERMS WITH MICHAL JORDAN

RALEIGH, NC – Ron Francis, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has agreed to terms with defenseman Michal Jordan (MIH-kahl yohr-DAHN) on a one-year, two-way contract. The deal will pay Jordan $550,000 on the NHL level, or $200,000 on the American Hockey League (AHL) level, with a guarantee of $225,000.
