‘CANES RECALL JOHN MUSE FROM CHARLOTTE

RALEIGH, NC – Jim Rutherford, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has recalled goaltender John Muse from the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League (AHL). Muse is being recalled on an emergency basis after goaltender Dan Ellis suffered a lower-body injury in Carolina’s game on Thursday against New Jersey. Rutherford also announced that Ellis and defenseman Bobby Sanguinetti are being placed on injured reserve, and defenseman Joe Corvo is being activated from injured reserve.
