RALEIGH, NC – Ron Francis, Executive Vice President and General Manager for the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has activated defenseman Ryan Murphy from injured reserve. Murphy has missed the Hurricanes’ last 11 games with a lower-body injury suffered Feb. 4 at Arizona.
